Rev. Shelly Coulter

Rev. Shelly Coulter was appointed as the Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in June 2008. Prior to serving Trinity, she served as the Associate Pastor at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lawton, OK.
Shelly experienced her initial call into ministry while a youth at the Collinsville United Methodist Church (now known as Meadowcreek UMC). Her call led her to earn her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. From there Shelly moved to Southern California where she earned her Master's of Divinity degree from Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, CA. While living in California, Shelly worked at Ontario United Methodist Church from 2002-2004.
Shelly loves to travel. She tries never to miss an opportunity to see the world. Since 2000, she has traveled in over 15 countries including studying abroad in England and visiting the Holy Land in 2007. She loves sitting in coffee shops reading about the world-from Obama, Putin, and McCain to Spears, Jolie and Sheen (Martin that is). Despite rationing her TV consumption for Lent, Shelly never misses an episode of LOST. She will also watch The West Wing and Law and Order endlessly.
