Welcome to the website of Trinity United Methodist Church

We are located in the heart of Brookside. We are a small church family where everyone is warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate fully regardless of where you are on your faith journey - just starting out or well along the path. Each person, each member, each visitor is important. Here you will find Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors. Regardless of who you are or where you have been, you are welcome here.

We believe in Radical Hospitality. If you have a question or a need, just ask anyone for assistance and you will be lead (not just told).

We believe in Passionate Worship. Tell us if you need special assistance to make our services more meaningful. Whether that is an amplifier for the hearing impaired or digital input of the bulletin each week for a braille reader.

We believe in Intentional Faith Development. Where ever you are on your faith journey, there is something here for you. We gather as a community many times each week and visitors are always welcomed in any of our groups.

We believe in Risk Taking Service and Mission. Trinity's United Methodist Women's organization is part of one of the most active missions groups in the United States. As a whole, our church supports at least one child in the Methodist supported Happy Children's Home in China. We sponsor AA, ESL classes and Girl Scout troops as well as being a community partner with Marshall School. We started and have maintained the George Nicely Jr Memorial Music and Arts Program, designed to provide additional schooling in an arts and music program for Marshall school, and Trinity Night in Brookside which provides safe, child friendly activities. Both are funded by catering breakfast to the Sunshine Rotary Club every Wednesday morning.

We believe in Extravagant Generosity. We support Restore Hope - a mission designed to help underprivileged or distressed families with food, clothing and counseling. We support Exodus House, a program to help ex offenders return to society as healthy, contributing members. Each Christmas we provide hats, mittens and warm scarves as well as underwear and socks for Marshall School. Each December, we present Christmas in Brookside, a free program of music and drama intended to set the mood for the wonders of Advent.

We are the members of Trinity United Methodist Church. Welcome to our home.
